The way to gain access to a wearable depends on who you are. Staff have
direct access by telnetting into the wearable from the server (waihona).
Others need to do the following:
Get yourself registered to use a wearable. If you haven't yet set up
ssh for yourself, do so by typing ssh-keygen -d on solaris and/or
linux, hit return a couple of times when it asks you for filenames.
Now you have to ask a member of the wearables group to give you access
to a specific wearable. The commands for them to execute are:
bitsypermission m0xx -r: revoke all permissions on the wearable
m0xx. bitsypermission is located in
$CVSROOT/Utilites/Access/. (see the label on the bottom of the
bitsy for the values of xx)
bitsypermission m0xx <file>: add the public key in
<file> to the list of people who have access to m0xx file
bitsypermission m0xx: same as above but read the public key
from standard input.
Now you can use ssh m0xx@waihona to log in to a bitsy.
Use login name 'root' with no password.
