Context drivers offer a way to acquire and match data of a specific format. The data type is implicit in the data, so it is easy for a process to call the correct context driver to handle any given data. This is essential as it allows the Locomedia system to expand and offer support for as-yet unwritten devices.
For example, if something is needed to match the data '/CRON/Date', the match function can be found as '/MATCH/BOOLEAN/CRON'.
Context drivers are the same as any device driver, except that there are a certain minimum number of services that the driver is expected to support. These are as follows
