This section of our web describes the software we have written for our CyberWear.

After our initial explorations of the capabilities of a wearable computer we defined the concept of 'Locomedia'.

LocoMedia is a wearable computer system that allows users to 'place' media objects,  such as voice notes, images or web pages, at specific locations. These objects are subsequently 'found' by LocoMedia wearables that enter the vicinity of the object. For example a user may record a voice note and associate it with his current location just outside a baker's shop: "This shop sells great doughnuts". The voice note then becomes accessible to other LocoMedia users. When these users pass the same location, the note is played.

We have used two different approaches to realise this vision of wearable computers associating media objects with contextual data:-
